Question: Are there evil spirits, lost souls, that died from lusts like drug addiction, that hang around and get us to..?

..stay addicted, so they can get in us temporarily and get the buzz? Alcoholic black- out? Gluttony, sloth?

These are demons. They are not the spirits of humans. Demons desire to express their perverse appetites and desires through a human body. They can be cast out by a believer, in the Name of Jesus.

Demons are lost souls that seek a body to inhabit for they miss being able to touch and taste. Be careful. I saw a man who overdosed right in front of my eyes. A man revived him but when he came out of it he looked different. He tried to choke the person that revived him and at the same time he was foaming at the mouth. We had to restrain him until he looked normal and stopped. A week later I read the obituary column and found his name. He'd taken a gun to his head. It was really sad.

There are evil spirits....but they are Satan's demons....those evils spirits are spirits of fear, spirit of guilt, spirit of addiction and so many more. Their job is to cause havoc in our lives.

No...just no. and even if there were, well...who ya gonna call? I think the closest to evil spirits your going to get, are on the rocks...or maybe straight up

Not lost souls. Negative emotion attracts certain spiritual entities, who boost up the negativity to levels of obsession that may be diagnosed as mental illness. When a person dies, these entities hang around as a sort of echo, waiting for the next person to infect. Certain drugs, alcohol, hypnosis, meditation techniques, can all weaken the natural barriers that prevent a person from being possessed. These spiritual entities are concerned with control. Most often, they are low-level "whisperers ". These have a limited view of the future, and can implant words and images into a person's mind. Divination, seances, tarot cards, astrology, have entities behind them that are also intent on control, but these are by manipulation rather than possession. First, they validate themselves. Secondly, the prove themselves by accurate prediction. Thirdly, they control, making the victim dependent on them for every decision in their lives.
