Question: Should drugs be legalised in the uk?

Should drugs (or certain drugs) be made legal in the UK? What are the pro's and con's of legalising drugs? I am interested to hear other opinions. Whether you say yes or no, please tell me why you think like you do. I am interested to hear different points of view.

No drugs, other than prescription drugs, should be legalised.

A growing number of Chief Constables have said publicly they cannot control the huge amount of class A drugs coming into the UK,they suggest it would be much better to legalise these drugs, make the user get official classification as a drug user and get a prescription for their drug of choice,this would stop junkies from using drugs contaminated by cutting. crime levels would fall, prostitution would lessen. I personally agree with this idea
