What percentage of Americans are drug addicts? What percentage use drugs regularly or casually?
Is your answer just a guess or based on actual statistics. Why do you think so many people have the need to " get high" ? I feel drug use only adds to the underlying problems that drive one to drug use in the first place. I'm relating to so called hard drugs, alcohol, and prescription drug abuse have I left anything out?

I need to change my life. Bad grades, drugs, no girlfriends.?
I've been having a lot of trouble in my life lately.I have been getting bad grades which has been hurting my mom because I keep telling her I'll do better but I never do it. She has just recently got in a divorce with my dad and is having trouble supporting herself.Also, I do drugs like smoke weed and drink alcohol occasionally. But now I recently got into ecstasy and going to parties and dancing.I've also been having trouble getting girlfriends...I think everything ties down to this, because I do drugs to try to hook up with girls. It's not that I'm unattractive or anything but I just don't have much luck.I feel that if I stop doing drugs, I will lose almost all most of my friends, lose my popularity, and be " uncool" . I feel that if I have a girlfriend this would help my cause...because she can maybe limit me in the things I do. I've only had one in my entire life. Yes I know, I'm a loser.But I really want a change in my life but I don't think I can do it myself...should I pray to god or what...what should I do...I need some advice

A drug addict can get welfare with no problem, but a 1st time mom can't?
I had made several posts about our problem. After getting great advice from everyone I marched into social services and was told that someone had taken our case and that everything would be okay.2 weeks later, rent is not paid still, we are almost our of food, and we haven't gotten a letter from them about our case. I called and was told that our case is pending. Pending??? Why? Our baby is due any day now, and our case isn't good enough? I have been trying to be so strong, but how when we can't get the help we need right now? I have seen drug addicts walk in to the welfare office and walk out with everything right then and there Why is our case taking so long??? Is it because we don't have any past records? Because our records are clean? Maybe its because we actually have had jobs and work hard for what we have But wait, yet they are telling us we have to wait We have to just f cking sit here and wait for them to determine if we are eligible or not? Up untill these past couple of months my tax dollars have gone to help those on welfare And yet here I am needing help and Im pretty much being turned away I am glad that my landlord is so patient, but he won't be too much longer...then what will happen?If the state won't help me then who do I turn to? This government sux Why is it that all the lazy people get the help but the ones who are really struggling and need the help are turned away?

I know parents who take recreational drugs?
Should i inform the authorities, or would they just laugh, the parents are pretty sensible generally but do like to take drugs now and again?

What device or instrument or drug can be used to negate the feelings that christens say they?

What if they made drugs legal ?
What is so bad about drugs you know they say that liquor and beer is worse for your body than 3x i myself dont drink the only think i do is smoke a little pot i just wondering what everybody else was thinking i myself think organised crime would drop to about 50 percent ? ponder on that one i live in charlotte nc and just about 10 people in every apartment complex sells some kind of harsh drug po ice cant possably get everyone selling i mean we all know cops must see people standing on the corner we see them nd thet get paid too see them

How does a drug deal go south?
I'm talking about when you go to get your drugs like normal from your local drug dealer and you end up getting shot, stabbed, or killed. I heard about this on the news a few times. When ever I get my pot, coke, or extacy, I just make the call, give them the money, get the drugs, then leave. What goes wrong that causes the drug dealer to pull out a knife or gun?

Should drugs be legalised in the UK?
Should drugs or certain drugs be made legal in the UK? What are the pro's and con's of legalising drugs? I am interested to hear other opinions.Whether you say yes or no, please tell me why you think like you do. I am interested to hear different points of view.

I'd like to ask about buddhism and prescription drugs....?
I know that the 5th rule of Buddhism is to abstain from drugs and alcohol, but does this apply to ALL drugs? For example, I take allegra to control my serious pollen allergy, is this ok in the buddhist beliefs or is it considered another drug and as such must be restricted? by serious allergy I mean anaphylaxis can occur

Where in the bible does it say that taking drugs is a sin?
I don't think it does. Maybe that's why we ended up with the book of Revelation.

my friend has one and he said it had pot in it its only like 10 % in the fabric and he started sucking on it in class...well anyway... do they really have pot in them?oh, and the drug rug is a jacketwell, more like a hoodie
